Position Title:  Clinician (Two positions available to start immediately)

Position Location: Two openings: one in South LA; one in Pomona

Position Type: Full-time

Reports To : Site Manager / Program Director

Responsibilities: 

PROTOTYPES has two openings for MSW Social Worker for a innovative new program. Position locations are in South LA and Pomona. The qualified candidate will provide a full range of mental health and substance abuse and case management services for juveniles (ages 16 - 25) being served by Project Youth Embrace (PYE), a re-entry program for youth returning from custody. The qualified individual will work within a multi-disciplinary environment to provide quality and evidenced based services to clients. The MSW will be responsible for formulating treatment plans for clients; participating in case conferences to review client status, progress, and treatment needs; conducting psychosocial assessments on identified clients; conducting individual, family and group counseling sessions; implementing a variety of evidence-based strategies for client intervention; documenting all client/family contact; meeting and interfacing regularly with other project site staff members; providing individual, group and family services as indicated; and other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: 

Master's degree required in a related field (MSW preferred). Licensed mental health clinician is a plus. Experience and interest in working with at-risk populations. Specific experience in working with at-risk youth populations in a clinical setting is desirable.
