Position Title:  CLINICAL DIRECTOR, PROTOTYPES WOMEN'S CENTER, Pomona, CA

Summary:  Under the supervision of the management of the PROTOTYPES Women's Center - Pomona (PWC), the Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing and directing the clinical treatment program for residential services and PROTOTYPES' largest residential facility for women and their children. The qualified candidate will also oversee the federally funded Pregnant and Postpartum Women's (PPW) program. The ideal individual works well on an interdisciplinary team and will serve as the clinical lead in case planning, policy and procedures and supervision.

Duties:
1. Oversee and direct the clinical treatment program at PWC including policies and procedures for intake, treatment, and discharge.
2. Directly supervise all PPW and adult mental health staff.
3. Monitor therapeutic activities on site, provide relevant training to facility staff, and provide special assessments and crisis intervention as needed.
4. Collaborate with Psychiatrist, Medical Director, case management, counseling and clinical staff for oversight of treatment for clients with co-occurring disorders.
5. Convene regular, ongoing mental health team meetings and case conferences and participate in facility management, staff, and other meetings.
6. Provide overall management of a comprehensive residential treatment for pregnant and postpartum women and their children and families and all clinical programs and services on the PROTOTYPES Women's Center in Pomona.
7. Work with management team to provide supervision to all PPW and mental health staff.
8. Develop and ensure adherence to clinical and program policies and procedures.
9. Develop and maintain contacts with community providers, coordinating agencies, and government agencies, implementing a network of provider meetings and represent PROTOTYPES in appropriate meetings and projects.
10. In collaboration with the PPW Evaluation Subcontractor, coordinate data collection and evaluation processes.
11. Some minor travel is required (1-2 times per year).

Qualifications: 
· Licensed clinician with Master's in Social Work, Marriage Family Therapy, or PhD in Psychology.
· Minimum four years of program management in direct client service, preferably among multiply diagnosed populations with clinical supervisory responsibilities.
· Experience in therapeutic techniques appropriate to a residential setting, preferably utilizing federally recognized "evidence-based practices."
· Thorough knowledge of all laws, regulations, and policies of government agencies that affect the operation of a residential program.
· Strong understanding of bicultural and socioeconomic issues required.
