Maryann
Fraser, L.C.S.W., M.B.A. is the Executive Vice President for PROTOTYPES,
Centers for Innovation in Health, Mental Health and Social Services.
She is responsible for a wide variety of senior management functions.
Among her responsibilities have been the financing, acquisition, renovation,
and new construction of a number of program facilities. The most recent
of these is the construction of 32 units of affordable housing for women
and their children with special needs. She has been part of the PROTOTYPES
team since its inception in 1986 and had a major role in the planning
and realization of the agency's programs.
Formerly Ms. Fraser was Executive Director of the Betty Clooney Foundation
for Persons with Brain Injuries. She worked with the founding Board
of Directors to create this non-profit organization which is devoted
to the development of affordable, community-based services for people
disabled by brain injury.
Ms. Fraser has also served on the part-time faculty of the UCLA Graduate
School of Social Welfare, designing and teaching classes on organizational
theory, public policy and the delivery of mental health services.
Ms. Fraser received her Bachelor of Arts from California State University
in Los Angeles. She earned a Master of Social Work from UCLA Graduate
School of Social Welfare and a Master of Business Administration from
UCLA Graduate School of Management.
