Residential Treatment

Prototypes’ residential treatment programs are designed to help women remain successful in their recovery from drug and/or alcohol addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders through a comprehensive program of services and support.

Our wide range of integrated services also includes caring for women with chronic medical conditions, support for community re-entry after incarceration, and vital skills to gain permanent housing and employment. We provide a caring and nurturing environment that prepares clients to live healthy, self-sustaining lives.

Our staff meets with each woman in her current stage of recovery and works alongside each client to develop a program that specifically addresses her individual circumstances. We work with our clients to determine which of our services – individual and group counseling, psychiatric referrals, vocational and educational rehabilitation, parenting classes, recreational activities and other support services – will best serve her particular needs.

We know that women are often the sole providers and caretakers for their children. Our residential programs are designed to accommodate women who choose to come to Prototypes individually as well as those who choose to include their children in the recovery process. Children are able to develop a strong bond with their mothers in a safe environment while also receiving mental health services and school support.

Prototypes is dedicated to providing quality treatment services that are affordable and accessible to everyone. We work with public entities throughout Southern California to help clients access our programs. For individuals and families who do not qualify for government-funded programs, we also accept insurance and offer affordable options for those who wish to pay privately. Our newest program, Resolve Recovery, is uniquely designed for women who do not qualify for publicly funded programs and also cannot afford the high cost of private treatment facilities.
