To be most effective in assisting their recovery, our substance use disorder treatment programs are designed to provide comprehensive, evidence-based treatment services for men and women aged 18 and older. Outpatient and intensive outpatient programs are available as well as services designed specifically for pregnant and parenting mothers, for parents who have an open case with child protective services, and for adults in the criminal or family court systems. All of our staff members are specially trained to assist clients with these unique issues.
Our programs also focus on the entire family and include prevention services for adolescents to help break the cycle of addiction that exists in many families. As an added benefit, child care services are available for children while their parents participate in their own treatment programs.
Medication-Assisted Therapies
Prototypes provides medication as an aid for treating alcohol and opioid dependence, and for preventing relapse at some of our locations. This includes the use of Vivitrol, a non-addictive, non-narcotic medicine that, when used in conjunction with counseling, has proved to be highly effective. Buprenorphine may also be used for opioid dependence.
